Annual General Meeting
The Club's Annual General Meeting will be held 8th June in the Wollongong Tennis Club's Boardroom. It's been a shortened year for the current Committee, due to delays in having the 2020 Meeting as a result of COVID restrictions. Usually, the AGM is held close to Presentation but - so the Committee had one less spinning plate to deal with - it was decided to put it back a couple of months, while also giving the incoming Committee time enough to prepare for Season 2021/22. The new Committee - and associated Support Position holders - will be elected at the AGM.
The Committee is comprised of regular people who choose to donate some of their time to make Athletics Wollongong a more effective and rewarding club for its members. We urge anyone with an interest and some availability to consider nominating for a position:

If you're unsure as to which to go for, note that nominations are yet to be received for: Vice President, Secretary, Development Officer, Race Secretary, Chief Timekeeper, Equipment Officer, Fundraising Officer, and Grants Officer. Some of these roles are critical to the club's operations; some mean our athlete's experience with the club may be sub-optimal. Please consider nominating.
The June Committee Meeting will follow the AGM.
