Purchase a ticket to a Trivia Fundraiser and help Athletics Wollongong members Chelsy Wayne & Delta Amidzovski with the costs associated with representing Australia at the World Athletics U20 Championships.  Click the link or press the Buy Tickets button!

This fundraiser is being held July 20th at Collegians Wollongong from 7pm (AKA Collegians Rugby League Football Club).  You can find the club at 3a Charlotte St, Wollongong.  Have a bite to eat there before kick-off!

There'll be plenty of good times, fun games, puzzling trivia, and great prizes.  Check out this list of what's up for grabs :O :O :O

You can purchase a 'table' ticket if you have a group of 8 ready to go.  Buy one ticket and have the rest of your team pay you back offline (or shout them!).

Don't have the 8?  An 'individual' ticket is your best bet - we'll be able to find a team for you.  You can buy multiple 'individual' tickets in the one transaction and each of those people will be seated together.  Otherwise, your group of people from the same transaction may be topped up by other 'individual' ticket purchasers, or joined with another small group/s to form a crack team of trivia superheroes.

If you can't make the night, then you can still lend your support by purchasing 'Unable to Attend' tickets.  It's just like a donation, only you'll get to feel a part of it all as well!  This option can be purchased via the Athletics Wollongong Shop.

Also available at the Shop: tickets for a raffle that will be drawn on the night.  It will be of particular interest to NRL fans: a signed St George-Illawarra Dragons jersey is the main prize.  (Note that online sales will halt at noon Friday, before resuming live at the Trivia Fundraiser with the draw occuring at approximately 9pm).

The World Athletics U20 Championships are being held in Lima, Peru this August.  To make the national team, Chelsy and Delta first had to attain a tough qualifying performance standard and then beat to the punch the country's best junior athletes at the Australian Track & Field Championships.

Both of our athletes took out U20 national titles on the way to team selection: Chelsy in the Discus, and Delta in both the 100m Hurdles & Long Jump.

While an honour to make the team, it does come with a financial burden: a $6000 team levy per member.

We hope you can assist these fine ambassadors make a splash on the world stage!  Inspiring our entire community of local athletes and honouring their sporting dedication and prowess.

The Fine Print:

  • No outside food or drink is allowed to be brought onto the premises.  Instead, sample the delights of Collies!
  • Those under 18 are welcome to attend, they will need to be signed in at front reception by an adult parent/carer and are not permitted to leave the auditorium without adult supervision.
  • Our provider charges fees for all purchases: a $20 ticket has an additional cost of $2.04 in fees.  A $160 table ticket has an additional cost of $4.90 in fees.
