The 200m Zoom returned this season following its inaugural running for Athletics Wollongong's 60th birthday last year.  Also back was event sponsor Process Integerations, courtesy of Club legend Peter Gandy, who put up the prizemoney: $61 for our male and female winners, along with another $61 for some lucky lane draws from all participants.

Peter Gandy, of course, was the Club's first Commonwealth Games representative and our fastest ever sprinter.  He's still ranked on the Australian All-Time lists with a 100m PB of 10.34s and a 200m PB of 20.66s (hand-timed).  Peter hopes to inspire the next generation of elite Athletics Wollongong sprinters, as well as encourage everyone to participate in track.  Full heats indicate that it's working!
