Dear AW Members,

Please check the email address that you used to register with Athletics Wollongong for important information regarding our Annual General Meeting, to be held at the track on 23rd September, from 5:30pm.  If you didn't receive this email, contact us at athleticswollongong@gmail.com and we'll try another way to get it to you.

Following the AGM we'll run a few events for interested parties.  We'll also take the opportunity to trial some of our COVID-19 procedures and precautions ahead of our 20/21 Season starting on 7th October.

If you will be in attendance, follow the NSW Health guidelines in place at the time of the meeting. At this stage this means:

• Staying away if you have COVID/cold/flu symptoms, have been in contact with anyone confirmed to have COVID-19 in the past 14 days, are awaiting test results, or have returned from overseas in the past 14 days
• downloading the Government’s COVIDSafe app
• making safe travel arrangements to/from the facility (i.e. limiting use of car pools/taxis/Uber etc. and/or physical distancing on public transport)
• using the sanitation stations on entering/leaving the Beaton Park Leisure Centre and as frequently as necessary in between
• covering your mouth appropriately when coughing/sneezing is unavoidable
• maintaining social distancing
• not sharing personal equipment
• only using the grandstand restroom facilities, if necessary
• following all signage (e.g. regarding the separate entry/exit points) and any other indicators enforcing physical distancing (inc. witches hats, tape, etc.)
• bringing a labelled water bottle for your own use (no bubblers are accessible at the track)
• completing the attendance register

Finally, NSW Health urges Club Members who live outside of the local area to consider whether it is necessary to participate in these activities at this time; e.g. you could lodge a proxy form rather than physically attend to have your vote at the AGM count.
